A Morrilton man has been arrested following an investigation by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigations Division Internet Crimes Against Children unit.
Authorities say Collin Cormier, 23, of Morrilton, was arrested Wednesday, March 4, 2026, after investigators served a search and arrest warrant at a residence in Morrilton.
The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cyber tip submitted through the Microsoft platform. Investigators say the report identified 100 images of child sexual abuse material connected to the case.
According to authorities, investigators determined that Cormier had engaged in sexually explicit online messaging with a juvenile in Texas, including discussions about plans to meet the child.
The **Arkansas State Police ICAC unit worked with the Morrilton Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations during the investigation and execution of the warrant.
Cormier was transported to the Conway County Detention Center, where he was booked on:
3 counts of Possession of Child Pornography
1 count of Internet Stalking of a Child
Investigators also seized multiple electronic devices from the residence. Authorities say the devices will undergo forensic examination as the investigation continues.
