The Independence County Extension Office is hosting the Cleburne & Independence County Cattlewomen’s Bootcamp, a two-day, hands-on educational program focused on practical cattle production skills. DEADLINE March 4th

The bootcamp is scheduled for March 12 and 13 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at 1770 Myers Avenue in Batesville. The program is designed to build confidence and real-world ability in cattle operations through both classroom instruction and live demonstrations.
Participants will receive training in herd management, forage and weed management, and safe cattle handling techniques. Organizers say the event is open to women interested in strengthening their livestock production skills, whether they are new to cattle or looking to expand their knowledge.
