Cave City has been nominated in the 10th annual Strongest Town contest and is now competing head to head with 15 other North American cities.

The national contest shines a spotlight on communities demonstrating resilience, smart growth and long-term strength. Round 1 voting began on 3-2-2026 and runs through 3-13-2026.

Voters can cast 1 vote per round at strongesttown.com. Votes are tallied Monday through Friday morning as competitors advance through 4 rounds:

• Round 1: The Showcase (3-2-2026 through 3-13-2026)
• Round 2: Elite Eight (3-16-2026 through 3-20-2026)
• Round 3: Final Four (3-23-2026 through 3-27-2026)
• Round 4: Championship (3-30-2026 through 4-3-2026)

The Strongest Town contest highlights communities making measurable progress in infrastructure, economic vitality and long-term sustainability.

Known as the “Home of the World’s Sweetest Watermelons,” Cave City continues to earn recognition for community pride, development initiatives and forward-thinking leadership.

Residents and supporters are encouraged to vote and help Cave City advance through each round of the competition.
