Beebe School District Superintendent Zebulon Prothro has been recognized by Southern Arkansas University in the university’s Educational Leadership newsletter, which highlights educators across Arkansas making an impact in their communities.

Each month, the program features education leaders across the state, and district officials say they are proud to see Prothro’s servant leadership and dedication to students and staff recognized.
Leadership in Action
In the feature titled “Leadership in Action,” Prothro’s leadership philosophy is described as one rooted in service, stewardship, and building strong foundations for future success.
The article notes that leadership in education is often measured by titles and accomplishments, but for Prothro, leadership has always focused on supporting effective leaders, strengthening existing structures, and building on the foundation already in place within the district.
Continuing Education and Leadership Development
In addition to serving as superintendent, Prothro is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Rural and Diverse Educational Leadership.
His doctoral studies continue to shape his perspective on rural education leadership, equity, and fiscal responsibility, while helping guide long-term planning for student success.
Supporters say the recognition highlights Prothro’s commitment to ensuring students in the Beebe School District are prepared not only for today’s challenges but for long-term success.
