The 2026 Arkansas Regional Robotics Tournament, part of the nationally recognized FIRST Robotics Competition, will return to Searcy, Arkansas from March 19 through March 21, 2026 at the Ganus Athletic Center on the campus of Harding University.

The 3-day event will bring together some of the brightest high school students in engineering, technology, and innovation from across the United States and Mexico. A total of 25 teams are scheduled to compete, including 8 teams from Arkansas, showcasing the work of students who have spent months designing, building, and programming their competition robots.
Each robot weighs approximately 115 pounds and stands about 22.5 inches tall, representing countless hours of collaboration between students and their adult mentors. Teams will compete in a fast-paced environment that challenges their robots to perform specific tasks while demonstrating teamwork, problem-solving, and advanced engineering skills.
The FIRST Robotics Competition is known for inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) while also developing leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Organizers say the event will once again bring excitement and visitors to the Searcy community, drawing students, mentors, families, and robotics enthusiasts from throughout the region.
The tournament is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and support these talented students as they demonstrate their innovative designs and technical achievements.
