The Searcy Swim Center will be temporarily closed from February 9 through February 20 as crews replaster the pool and complete routine maintenance throughout the facility.
Officials say the closure is part of ongoing efforts to update and improve the swim center for the community. City staff apologized for the inconvenience and thanked patrons for their patience during the improvement process, noting the work falls under the center’s ongoing #PardonOurProgress initiative.
Located at 525 Recreation Way in Searcy, the facility features three pools for public use, including two indoor pools open year-round and an outdoor pool available during the summer season. Programs offered include lap swimming, water aerobics, water walking, swim lessons, youth and adult swim teams, and leisure activities for all ages.
The swim center also hosts pool parties, guided Searcy Splash water aerobics classes, and is home to the Searcy Shark Swim Team for competitive swimmers ages 6 to 18.
