A nationwide recall has been issued for nearly 9,500 pounds of frozen meatballs sold at Aldi stores due to possible metal contamination.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the recall involves 32-ounce packages of “Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs” with a “Best By” date of October 30, 2026.
The issue was discovered after a consumer complaint reported finding metal fragments in the product. At this time, there have been no confirmed reports of injuries linked to the recalled meatballs.
The product was manufactured by Rosina Food Products of West Seneca, New York, and distributed nationwide through Aldi supermarkets.
Consumers are urged not to eat the recalled meatballs. The USDA advises customers to either discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
Shoppers with questions can contact the manufacturer or visit the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service website for additional recall details.
