Three Arkansas residents recently claimed lottery prizes totaling more than $1 million at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center, according to lottery officials. Two of the winners chose to remain anonymous.

A woman from Bradley County won $500,000 playing the $20 scratch-off game 200X the Cash. She purchased the winning ticket at a convenience store in Hermitage and claimed her prize on January 21.

“I was in disbelief,” the winner told lottery officials. A longtime lottery player, she said she did not expect a major win and was pleased that her purchase also supports college scholarships for Arkansas students.

A Baxter County resident claimed a $350,000 top prize after playing the $20 instant game $350,000 Jackpot. The winning ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Mountain Home.

“This can’t be real,” the winner recalled thinking after realizing she had won. She told lottery officials she didn’t fully believe the win until the ticket was scanned at the claim center. She plans to save the money for retirement.

The third winner, Charles Campbell of Boone County, claimed $250,000 after playing the $10 scratch-off game 100X the Cash. The winning ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Harrison and claimed on January 20.

“I cried happy tears,” Campbell said. “I was overjoyed and so thankful.” Campbell said he plans to save the money and take a trip with his wife. His wife purchased the ticket for him after noticing only a few tickets remained in the bin.

Lottery officials say instant games and in-state draw games such as Natural State Jackpot continue to generate strong participation while helping fund scholarships for Arkansas students.
