Lyon College in Batesville will be closed Thursday, January 29, due to hazardous area road conditions, college officials announced.
While the campus will be closed to regular operations, essential services will remain open, including Campus Security, Facilities, and Dining Services. Dining Services will operate on a modified brunch and dinner schedule during the closure.
College officials encourage students, faculty, and staff to closely monitor lyon.edu and campus email for updates, operational changes, and additional information as conditions improve.
University leaders urge the campus community to use caution, limit unnecessary travel, and prioritize safety while road conditions remain hazardous.
