Heber Springs Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on I-57 in White County

A Heber Springs man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 57 in rural White County, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police.

Troopers identified the victim as Bradley Grady Tharp, 23, of Heber Springs. The crash occurred at approximately 8:38 p.m. on January 20, 2026, near the 41-mile marker on northbound I-57.

Investigators say Tharp was driving a 2015 Dodge Dart northbound when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned multiple times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.

Weather conditions were reported as clear, and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. Tharp’s body was transported to the White County Coroner’s Office, and next of kin has been notified.

The crash remains under investigation by Trooper Robert T. Lisenbee with the Arkansas State Police.
