Batesville Community Theatre is inviting audiences to journey into a world of magic and mischief with its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of the playwright’s most beloved comedies.
The play unfolds across two worlds — the orderly court of Athens and a magical forest beyond the city walls — exploring themes of love, friendship, jealousy, and enchantment. Theatre officials say the production features a talented local cast and crew bringing comedy, romance, and fantasy to life on stage.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, February 15, at 2 p.m., at Batesville Community Theatre.
Tickets are $20 for general admission. A limited number of Club Tables for two are available for $60, offering premium seating close to the stage. In addition, a special behind-the-scenes backstage tour will be offered for $5 on Saturday night only, giving audience members a look at the sets, costumes, and technical elements that create the magical production.
