The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division has located the commercial vehicle and identified the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 530 South near the 34-mile marker.
The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. on December 30, 2025, when a Peterbilt truck struck an orange Dodge Charger. The impact forced the Charger into the median, back across the southbound lanes, and off the roadway where it overturned and came to rest in the trees. The driver of the Charger suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized.
Investigators say the commercial truck continued southbound after the crash. Through continued investigative efforts, ASP has now located the truck and positively identified the driver. The investigation remains ongoing.
Arkansas State Police thanked witnesses and members of the public for providing information that assisted in the case.
