Arkansas general revenues are running ahead of projections through the first half of fiscal year 2026, according to a December 2025 report released by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

Net available general revenues totaled $3.437 billion year-to-date, up $73.4 million, or 2.2 percent, from the same period last year and $102.9 million, or 3.1 percent, above forecast. Gross general revenues reached $4.023 billion, exceeding projections by $116.2 million, driven largely by strong individual income and sales tax collections.
Individual income tax receipts totaled $1.69 billion, running 5.7 percent above forecast, while sales and use tax collections climbed 3.2 percent over last year. Corporate income tax collections declined year-over-year and finished below forecast.
For December alone, net available revenue came in slightly below projections, reflecting lower corporate income tax activity. Despite the monthly dip, DFA officials noted overall fiscal performance remains solid.
