One number defined the rescheduled Diaper Dash 5K in downtown Searcy on Saturday, January 3, 2026: 5,112 diapers donated.

Despite crisp morning temperatures, the community gathered outside the Downtown Church of Christ with a shared goal—supporting families in need across White County. By 8 a.m., North Main Street was filled with runners, walkers, strollers, costumes, and stacks of diaper boxes, with Size 6 diapers especially in demand for White County 100 Families.

Music echoed through downtown as ArkasnasRadio.com radio station personality Greg Geary kept the energy high during warm-ups. With no registration fee, participation was fueled entirely by donations and community spirit.
When the dash began at 8:30 a.m., it wasn’t about speed or finish times—it was about neighbors coming together. By the end of the morning, donation bins were overflowing, totaling 4,505 diapers, ensuring local parents won’t have to choose between groceries and clean diapers. The count stood as clear proof that Searcy shows up when it matters most.
