The Cleburne County Aging Program is inviting the community to share the spirit of the season by participating in its Meals on Wheels Senior Angel Christmas Gift Event, an annual effort designed to bring holiday cheer to seniors across Cleburne County.
Community members are encouraged to support a Senior Angel by purchasing and wrapping a Christmas gift of their choice for a local senior. Once wrapped, gifts should be delivered to the Waychoff Senior Center, located at 320 Trailwood Drive in Heber Springs.
All gifts must be received by the end of the day on December 17 to ensure they are delivered to seniors in time for Christmas Day through the Meals on Wheels program.
Organizers say the event provides an opportunity for individuals, families, churches, businesses, and civic groups to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors who may otherwise spend the holidays alone.
The Cleburne County Aging Program thanks the community for helping spread joy and kindness this Christmas season by supporting local seniors and sharing the blessings of the holidays.
