Cave City is gearing up for a full day of holiday celebrations as the Kiwanis Club hosts its “Christmas Around the World” Christmas Parade and Community Christmas Dinner on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Parade lineup begins at 4 p.m. at the Cave City Middle School parking lot, with the parade starting at 5 p.m. and ending back at the middle school.
Families can enjoy pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, free popcorn and cocoa from Kiwanis, and hot dogs provided by Unifirst. The Farris Family Duet and Sidney Baptist Church will perform Christmas carols throughout the event.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the Best Float: $250 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third.
Earlier in the day, the Kiwanis Club will hold its Community Christmas Dinner & Coat Drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cave City Middle School Cafeteria, 711 Main Street. The free, pickup-only meal includes chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, a roll, and dessert. Coats will also be collected and distributed to local families in need.
