A Bigelow man has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison after being convicted by a jury on multiple counts related to the production of child sexual abuse material. The sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Jonathan D. Ross for the Eastern District of Arkansas following a hearing on December 18, 2025 before U.S. District Judge D.P. Marshall Jr.

Blair Michael Williams, 34, was found guilty on four counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession following a three-day federal trial that concluded on May 29, 2025. The indictment originally handed down on May 6, 2025, also included two counts of distribution.
Investigation Began After School District Concerns
The case began in 2022 when the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office requested federal assistance in a child exploitation investigation involving Williams, who was then working as a technology coordinator at a Mt. Vernon high school. Williams resigned earlier that year following an internal inquiry unrelated to the federal charges.
A subsequent search of his work computer uncovered a significant collection of child sexual abuse material stored on a school-managed Google Drive account accessible only to him. Investigators later identified multiple minor victims through the recovered files.
Federal Search Uncovered Additional Evidence
Federal agents executed a search warrant at Williams’ home on December 2, 2022, locating the vehicle seen in videos tied to the case and recovering additional digital evidence—including communications and files dating back several years. Hundreds of images were recovered during the investigation.
Federal Sentence and Supervision
In addition to the 18-year prison term, Williams was sentenced to 20 years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal prison system.
Part of Project Safe Childhood
This case was prosecuted under Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide Department of Justice initiative focused on identifying, investigating, and prosecuting child exploitation offenses.
The investigation was led by the FBI, with assistance from the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kristin Bryant and Jordan Crews.
