Arkansas Children’s Hospital Receives Historic $50 Million Gift, Joins Golisano Children’s Alliance

Arkansas Children’s in Little Rock has received the largest donation in its history — a $50 million gift from philanthropist Tom Golisano and The Golisano Foundation. The investment is part of a $100 million initiative supporting two hospitals, including Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Both facilities will join the Golisano Children’s Alliance, expanding the network to 12 hospitals nationwide.
As part of the partnership, Arkansas Children’s will be renamed Arkansas Children’s Golisano Campus. The funding will support the hospital’s $371 million expansion plan, including facility upgrades, workforce recruitment, enhanced clinical programs and increased access to pediatric care across Arkansas.
The alliance aims to grow to 40 member hospitals, bringing national collaboration to children’s health. Tom Golisano has contributed over $1 billion to education, healthcare and community initiatives to date.
This transformational gift marks a major milestone for Arkansas families, ensuring continued investment in lifesaving care for young patients.
