University of Central Arkansas Removes “Queer Childhood” Course Following Arkansas ACCESS Law

The University of Central Arkansas has removed its controversial “Queer Childhood” course, previously taught by a so-called fairy tale scholar, following the implementation of Arkansas ACCESS.

The law requires state colleges to provide academically grounded instruction and ensures transparency and accountability, preventing institutions from offering ideologically driven courses disguised as curriculum.

Supporters of the law say Arkansas students deserve education, not activism, and this action reflects a commitment to ensuring that coursework focuses on learning rather than political or ideological indoctrination.
