Congratulations to Tom and Charla Starnes, who have officially joined the ranks of Arkansas State Parks’ most dedicated explorers! The couple recently completed visits to all 52 Arkansas State Parks, wrapping up their adventure at the Ozark Folk Center in scenic Mountain View. Their accomplishment earns them a well-deserved place among the newest #Club52 members.
Tom and Charla’s achievement highlights the growing popularity of the Club 52 program—a free initiative designed to inspire Arkansans and visitors to discover the natural beauty, history, and culture preserved in the state’s diverse parks.

What Is Club 52?
Club 52 is a free rewards program offered by Arkansas State Parks. Participants receive a passport and collect stamps at each park they visit, earning fun keepsakes along the way. The goal? Visit all 52 parks and take home the ultimate reward—a Club 52 t-shirt signifying the completion of an unforgettable statewide adventure.
How Club 52 Works
1. Get Your Passport
Pick up a free passport at any Arkansas State Park visitor center to get started.
2. Collect Stamps
Receive a passport stamp at each state park. If a visitor center isn’t available, you can make a rubbing of the park’s stamp instead.
3. Earn Rewards as You Explore
5 Parks: Earn a Club 52 sticker
25 Parks: Receive a set of Club 52 playing cards
All 52 Parks: Celebrate with an official Club 52 t-shirt—ordered and mailed once all stamps are verified
4. Redeem Your Rewards
Bring your passport to any state park visitor center to have stamps verified and receive your prizes.
Additional Program Details
Stamps from older passports still count toward rewards.
The program is open to everyone, regardless of age or residency.
Participants are encouraged to share photos and videos of their journey using #ARStateParks.
Stories can be uploaded at ArkansasStateParks.com/passport to inspire others.
Celebrating Adventure Across Arkansas
Tom and Charla Starnes’ accomplishment is a reminder of just how rewarding it can be to explore Arkansas—from the forests and rivers of the Ozarks to the rich heritage sites of the Delta. Their journey is now a celebrated part of the Club 52 story, and Arkansas State Parks invites others to take the challenge and begin their own passport adventure.
Congratulations again to the Starnes family—and welcome to Club 52!
