Nominations are officially open for the 2026 Henry Awards, the prestigious honors presented annually at the Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism. The Henry Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and attractions that have made significant contributions to Arkansas’s tourism industry. Named after Henri de Tonti, the awards celebrate statewide excellence across categories such as Tourism Organization of the Year, Tourism Attraction of the Year, and Natural State Tourism Development.
In recent years, finalists from communities across Arkansas have been recognized for their innovative programs, outstanding attractions, and meaningful impact on visitor experiences. The 2025 nominations showcased a diverse slate of leaders helping shape the future of the state’s tourism economy.

This year, organizers are introducing an exciting new category: the Excellence in Hospitality Award. This award honors a lodging property, restaurant, guide service, or front-line staff member who consistently exceeds expectations in customer service and guest experience. It highlights those who go above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcomed, appreciated, and eager to return.
Industry professionals, community members, and tourism partners are encouraged to nominate individuals or organizations that exemplify excellence in hospitality and tourism leadership.
The submission deadline is November 26 at 5 p.m.
