The sounds of traditional mountain music will once again fill the Ozark Highlands Theater as the Next Generation Concert returns to Ozark Folk Center State Park during the 43rd Annual BeanFest and the Great Championship Outhouse Races this Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Presented by the Ozark Folk Center State Park, this much-loved event celebrates the rising stars of the Folk Music Capital of Mountain View, Arkansas. The concert features talented young musicians who are carrying forward the region’s cherished legacy of old-time mountain music and string band traditions.
The Next Generation Concert is a benefit event sponsored by the Committee of 100, raising funds for the Music Roots Program, which provides musical education and instruments to local youth. By purchasing tickets, attendees directly support the next wave of folk and bluegrass musicians in the Ozarks.
The concert takes place in the park’s award-winning, 1,000-seat Ozark Highlands Theater, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and warm, family-friendly atmosphere, promising an evening filled with toe-tapping tunes, community spirit, and timeless Ozark culture.
