The Cleburne County Cares Food Pantry in Heber Springs has been officially designated by the Arkansas Food Bank as an Emergency Response Pantry, allowing it to provide rapid food assistance to individuals and families during times of crisis.

Cleburne County Cares (CCC) began operations in December 1986 as a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. With the support of the Ministerial Alliance, the Cleburne County Department of Human Services, and concerned local citizens, CCC was formed to provide a central location for responding to human crises through collaboration with caring individuals and community organizations.

Originally located in Ozark Square on East Main Street, CCC has since moved its food pantry and administrative offices to 2016 Highway 25B North in Heber Springs.

The pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. In addition to food assistance, Cleburne County Cares also operates as a crisis center and offers homelessness prevention services.
