, , Leave a comment

Arkansas PBS is partnering with 60 organizations statewide for the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive, honoring Fred Rogers’ legacy of kindness and community. The drive encourages Arkansans to donate new or gently worn sweaters and cold-weather clothing at participating schools, libraries, businesses, or at Arkansas PBS headquarters in Conway.

All collected items will be distributed to local charities to help families and individuals in need. Walmart is the supporting sponsor, and the drive is held in honor of Sue Frueauff.

Arkansas PBS Executive Director Carlton Wing said, “The Sweater Drive is a wonderful way for Arkansans to live out Fred Rogers’ message, one warm gesture at a time.”
