The Commissioner of State Lands, Tommy Land, has announced that tax-delinquent properties from Cleburne, Faulkner, and Van Buren Counties will be sold at a regional auction on Tuesday, September 23rd.
The sale begins at 10 a.m. at the Conway Expo & Event Center, located at 2505 East Oak Street on Highway 64. Registration starts an hour earlier, at 9 a.m.
Regional auctions allow bidders to participate in multiple county sales at a single event. The auction will be conducted alphabetically by county.
Bidding begins at the amount of taxes, penalties, and interest owed on each parcel. Winning bidders must also pay 2024 property taxes directly to county collectors by October 15. All purchases must be paid in full on-site by check or card — cash is not accepted.
A full auction catalog, buyer’s guide, and video tutorials on researching parcels are available now at COSL.org.
Commissioner Land reminds Arkansans that delinquent property owners can still redeem parcels until 4 p.m. the day before the sale, but once sold at auction, sales are final.
