Hundreds of families and community members gathered Saturday, September 20, for Community Fest 2025, hosted by John 3:16 Ministries at their camp on 75 Holmes Road.
The event featured a free concert by Grammy-winning Christian artist Zach Williams, carnival rides, food concessions, and plenty of family-friendly activities. Gates opened at 10:30 a.m., with admission and rides free for all attendees. A live auction kicked off at 1 p.m., while a silent auction ran throughout the day. One lucky attendee also won a Spartan zero-turn mower.
Community Fest celebrated the 22nd anniversary of John 3:16 Ministries, which helps men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Attendees were encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the full day of entertainment, food, and fun.
John 3:16 Ministries said the event marked one of their biggest Community Fests yet, highlighting the organization’s ongoing impact in the Charlotte area.
