A large crowd gathered last night on the White County Courthouse lawn for a prayer vigil honoring Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. The event, held from 7 to 8 p.m., brought neighbors together in worship, reflection, and prayer, with candles and songs lighting up the courthouse grounds.
Organizers said the turnout reflected a community united in lament, repentance, and hope for spiritual healing across the nation. Many attendees brought candles and personal items of remembrance, creating a deeply moving and memorable evening.
The vigil served as a space for local residents to reflect, connect, and share in a moment of collective prayer, emphasizing faith and community solidarity.
