ASU-Beebe to Celebrate 60-Year Partnership with Little Rock Air Force Base
Arkansas State University-Beebe is marking 60 years of partnership with the Little Rock Air Force Base with a free, family-friendly celebration this Thursday, September 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the LRAFB University Center campus.
The event will feature:
Outdoor family-friendly activities and tours of the University Center
Health screenings (ASU-Beebe allied health programs)
Emergency medical demonstrations with on-site ambulance
Teddy Bear Clinic with Cabot Emergency Hospital and ASU-Beebe EMT students
Unity Health providing interactive stroke awareness brain exhibit
Members of the Jacksonville fire and police departments will be on-site to engage with families and provide safety demonstrations.
Academic advisors will be available to assist individuals interested in learning more about ASU-Beebe programs and enrollment.
A special commemorative coin has been designed and will be distributed as a keepsake to mark this historic occasion.
Guests will enjoy a cookout featuring hamburgers and hotdogs generously provided by First Arkansas Bank & Trust, along with a celebratory birthday cake.
ArkansasRadio.com radio stations, Cool 104.7 KFLI & 99.1 KRZS, KWCK 99-9, Cowboy County 100.7 KEAZ, Timeless 106.1 KFFB, The Bull 105-7 KBGB will broadcast live from 3 to 6 p.m., thanks to Connect2First and First Electric Cooperative.
