Arkansas State University-Beebe’s Career Services will host a Career Fair from noon to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in the Centennial Bank Gymnasium at the Owen Center, located at 1102 West College Street on the Beebe campus. The event is free and open to the public.

More than 40 area employers and several ASU-Beebe departments will be onsite to meet with students and discuss career opportunities. Departments include the Office of Admissions, the Regional Career Center, Adult Education, Allied Health, and A-State.

Attendees can also take advantage of on-site interview spaces and job search resources, provided by the Arkansas Workforce mobile unit.

“Students are encouraged to bring their resume in case a business wants to conduct an on-spot interview,” said Jesse Blue, ASU-Beebe career placement coordinator. “This is a great opportunity to network and explore career paths.”

Snacks will be provided by First Security Bank, while Great Western Dining Service will offer coffee, tea, and apple cider. Participants will also have the chance to win door prizes donated by area businesses.
