Arkansas State University-Beebe marked a major milestone last Thursday, celebrating 60 years of partnership with the Little Rock Air Force Base. The Anniversary Celebration was held at the ASU-Beebe LRAFB Campus and drew hundreds of community members, alumni, military families, and friends.
The event was filled with activities for all ages, including health screenings, emergency demonstrations, family-friendly games, and a cookout. Guests also received commemorative coins to honor the occasion, creating a special keepsake from the celebration.
ASU-Beebe Chancellor Dr. Jennifer Methvin expressed her gratitude to the base, the community, and the university family for their continued support, saying the partnership has been vital in helping students achieve their educational goals while strengthening community ties.
“Reaching 60 years with the Little Rock Air Force Base is not just a celebration of the past, but a commitment to the future,” Dr. Methvin shared.
