Traffic lights are coming at the Greers Ferry Dam.
It’s a temporary decision.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close one lane of the Highway 25 bridge across Greers Ferry Dam for routine maintenance. The closure is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 2 through September 4, 2025.
Temporary Traffic Lights Coming To Greers Ferry Dam
Traffic lights will be placed at both ends of the dam to manage flow around work zones. Drivers are urged to follow signals and exercise caution near equipment and crews.
Motorists should anticipate delays and consider alternate routes during the closure. Extra travel time is recommended to reach destinations safely.
The Corps is coordinating with emergency services and law enforcement to minimize disruptions. Officials apologize for any inconvenience and request public cooperation.
