U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman John Boozman (R-AR) has been named a 2025 Friend of Farm Credit by the AgriBank District Farm Credit Council (ADFCC) in recognition of his leadership and advocacy for American agriculture and rural communities.

Senator Boozman accepted the award Wednesday during a ceremony in Little Rock, joined by Arkansas members of Farm Credit Services.
“We thank Senator Boozman for the strong, steadfast support he has demonstrated for the Farm Credit mission and for the long-standing, collaborative relationship we have with him,” saidAgHeritage Farm Credit Services board vice chairman, and ADFCC member. “We are grateful for the formidable voice and leadership he provides on behalf of agriculture and rural communities. We are honored to celebrate him as a Friend of Farm Credit and a friend of agriculture and rural America.”
Boozman’s work in Congress has helped secure critical resources for agriculture, including historic investments in the farm safety net through the One Big Beautiful Bill, aimed at helping family farms and rural economies thrive.
“Hardworking Arkansas farmers and ranchers who grow our food, fiber, and fuel are struggling to keep up, let alone break even, in this current economic climate,” Boozman said. “I’m grateful for Farm Credit’s partnership in advancing policies that strengthen agriculture, and I look forward to continuing our work to ensure farmers have access to the levels of credit they need to keep farming.”
The Friend of Farm Credit Award recognizes public officials who demonstrate outstanding commitment to rural communities and support the long-term success of agriculture nationwide.
