Brandi Schulz, Executive Director of the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce, has completed Year One of the 39th annual Community Development Institute (CDI) at the University of Central Arkansas.

CDI equips community leaders and economic development professionals with the tools to build stronger, more resilient communities. The intensive three-year program includes training in strategic planning, collaboration, and addressing local economic and quality-of-life challenges.

“CDI empowers communities with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive,” said Schulz. “I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to benefit Cave City.”

Schulz’s participation was made possible through a 2025 scholarship from the Arkansas Community Development Society (ACDS), a nonprofit committed to advancing community development statewide.

CDI began at UCA in 1987 and has since expanded nationally. More information is available at www.uca.edu/cdi.
