Firefighters swarmed a house on the edge of Maumelle city limits connecting to North Little Rock, Arkansas.
North Little Rock Fire Department crews responded to a house fire at approximately 3:20 a.m. Saturday on July 5th, 2025 in the 8300 block of Fitzgerald. The fire was near the North Little Rock and Maumelle city limits. You can view photographs of the dramatic scene below and video footage.
Smoke Pours Out Of 2 Story House Near Maumelle
Engine 4 arrived first, reporting heavy smoke and flames extending to the second floor. The fire also threatened a neighboring residence.
Crews launched an aggressive fire attack to contain the blaze. Rescue 6 conducted a primary search to confirm all occupants had evacuated safely.
Maumelle Fire Department’s Battalion 1 and Tower 2 provided critical support. Additional North Little Rock units assisted in bringing the fire under control.
The North Little Rock Fire Department expressed gratitude for Maumelle’s assistance. Their automatic aid agreement ensured a swift, coordinated response.
