The Searcy community will gather this Friday, July 26, for the 4th Annual Recovery Picnic—an uplifting event dedicated to celebrating recovery and breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health.
Held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Spring Park (223 East Pleasure Avenue), the event promises an afternoon of connection, compassion, and community spirit. Attendees can enjoy free food, face painting, local vendor booths, and a moving recovery countdown honoring those in recovery.
One of the most impactful parts of the event will be guest speakers sharing powerful personal stories of transformation, hope, and healing.
Organizers say the picnic is a chance for the public to show visible support for friends, family members, and neighbors on their recovery journey.
Admission is free and open to everyone.
