He reportedly did not appear at court during the ongoing legal battle related to an alleged burglary.
Alleged Burglary Leads To Another Arrest
According to court documents, the arrest stems from an incident reported between August 9-16, 2024, at a location, where Casillas was reportedly hired to clean the property. Authorities allege he stole a TV and costume jewelry valued at $2,000 from the home of Stone Leatherwood.
Court documents from the White County Circuit Court accuse Casillas of unlawfully entering the residence with the intent to commit theft. He reportedly sold the stolen TV to someone known as “Dee Boy,” while his son was found with the victim’s cell phone.
Casillas faces a Class B felony for residential burglary and a Class D felony for theft of property, with the stolen items valued between $1,000 and $5,000. An affidavit filed on March 24, 2025, by Deputy L. Jordan Tucker led to the issuance of an arrest warrant.
His bond is set at $250 for failure to appear and $35,000 for the burglary and theft charges. Court dates are scheduled for August 12, 2025, and September 9, 2025, at the White County Circuit and District Courts.
The case has drawn attention due to the detailed evidence linking Casillas to the crime. Further updates are expected as the legal proceedings continue.
Please note: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
