They arrested him!
Jonathan Cole Young, a 40-year-old resident of Rosebud, Arkansas, was arrested on July 11, 2025, by the White County Sheriff’s Department. He faces charges for failing to register as a sex offender and violating probation.
Arrest Made In White County
According to case files, Young allegedly violated the Sex and Child Offender Registration Act of 1997. He failed to report an email account, phone number, eHarmony account, and GroupMe account to the Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC).
The charges stem from a January 13, 2025, investigation by DOC Officer Jeff Norris. Norris discovered Young was using an unreported iPhone 15 and had an eHarmony account, breaching his probation conditions.
A search of Young’s phone revealed unreported accounts and search history showing attempts to delete them. This led to four counts of failure to comply with reporting requirements, a Class C felony.Young’s court appearance is scheduled for September 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM in White County District Court.
The investigation involved the White County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
