A car went “airborne” in a deadly Arkansas car crash.

On June 11, 2025, at 7:56 a.m., a fatal accident occurred on US Highway 65 north of Bee Branch in Van Buren County. Joey Vincent Simmons II, a 23-year-old from Little Rock, was killed in the crash. Arkansas State Police released details.

Car Went “Airborne” in Arkansas Car Crash

Simmons was driving a 2022 Toyota northbound on US Highway 65. The vehicle veered left, crossing the southbound lanes before striking a ditch embankment on the highway’s west side.

The Toyota then became airborne, flipping multiple times. It came to rest in a wooded area off the roadway.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Simmons was pronounced deceased. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

The incident has raised concerns about road safety on US Highway 65. Local officials urge drivers to remain vigilant and adhere to traffic regulations.
