Shyann Lee, a 19-year-old from Mountain View, was driving a 2013 Mini Cooper eastbound. She was pronounced dead at the scene, her body held at the Cleburne County Morgue.
Nathaniel Laverne Franks, a 19-year-old from Southside, drove a 2012 Toyota Prius westbound. He sustained injuries and was taken to White River Medical Center.
The Prius crossed the centerline, entering the path of the Mini Cooper. The vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lane.
Rain and wet road conditions contributed to the crash. Authorities are investigating the incident.
