On May 8, 2025, Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) inspected the Highway 165 Bridge near Stuttgart. They identified concrete damage on the structure. However, they say it’s not structural. You can view photographs below.
Road Collapse Damage In Arkansas Reportedly “Not Structural”
The damage is believed to be cosmetic, not structural, according to ARDOT. The bridge remains safe for public use.
At this time, there are no plans to close the highway. ARDOT confirmed that traffic can continue as normal.
