An Arkansas man has been re-arrested after he allegedly failed to violated release conditions after being arrested after he reportedly fled from a police officer.

James Davis Ramsey, a 46-year-old from Judsonia, Arkansas, was arrested on April 2, 2025, at 10:36 a.m. He faces multiple charges across several cases in White County Circuit Court. After he reportedly fled from a police officer in a high speed police chase, leading the officer to pull a gun on him, he then reportedly proceeded to violate pre-trail release on a number of instances. Arkansas Man Faces $308,500 Bond After Reportedly Fleeing Cops And Then Violating His Agreement

According to case files, In 2022, Ramsey was charged with first-degree battery, residential burglary, and other felonies after a reported incident in July. He posted a $30,000 bond at the time and was released two days later.

In 2023, he faced charges of soliciting unlawful computer acts from June incidents. Ramsey secured a $3,500 bond and was freed in December.

On March 8, 2024, Ramsey allegedly fled from police in a vehicle, leading to a police officer pulling a gun on him. This led to a felony fleeing charge. He posted a $25,000 bond after his arrest on March 11.

The state alleges Ramsey violated pretrial release conditions by missing community corrections check-ins in July 2024 and January-February 2025. He was also arrested in June 2024 for theft and driving offenses.

On April 2, 2025, Ramsey was jailed for contempt after failing to comply with court orders from a February hearing. His bonds now total over $300,000 across all cases.

Ramsey, with over four prior felony convictions, has court dates set for May and June 2025. The habitual offender status could increase his potential penalties.
