On April 1, 2025, a grass fire broke out behind Weston Petroleum in Plumerville, Arkansas. The incident occurred near West Main Street. Conway County Fire Department released a photograph after the situation was stopped. You can view the photograph below.
Fire Stopped Near Arkansas Chemical Plant
Conway County Fire Department stations 8 and 12 responded to the scene. They worked alongside Plumerville Fire Department to tackle the blaze.
The fire was quickly brought under control by the firefighting teams. No serious injuries were reported during the incident.

The cause of the grass fire has not been disclosed. Authorities have not released further details.
