Man Dies After Accident Involving Tractor Trailer In Arkansas

William Baxter was the victim of this tragic incident. The 85-year-old man from Brinkley lost his life in the crash.

Baxter was driving a 2022 Ford Escape at the time of the collision. He was traveling westbound on US 79.

The accident involved a 2000 International Harvester trailer. Baxter’s vehicle struck the rear of this trailer.

The trailer was not fully off the road. It was parked partially on the north shoulder and partially in the westbound lane.

Arkansas State Police provided the initial details of the crash. They are continuing to investigate the circumstances.

This incident occurred in a rural part of Monroe County. It raises ongoing concerns about road safety in such areas.
