According to case files, authorities initially visited a Park Lane home in Horseshoe Bend to check on probationer Jessica Ann Ellis, but the homeowner clarified she didn’t live there and was only visiting.

After being informed of the correct address, Ellis was asked to gather her belongings to be transported there for a proper home visit. While packing, she reportedly grabbed a bottle of vodka and began drinking heavily, prompting officers to reportedly instruct her to pour it out, which she did, as they prepared to proceed to the correct residence.

The officers searched Ellis’s real reported residence, uncovering multiple items linked to methamphetamine and marijuana use. Ellis became uncooperative, attempting to leave the scene and resisting officers’ commands.

On February 25, 2025, Special Agent Gabriel Sanders took over the case, confirming the evidence tested positive for methamphetamine. Ellis now faces a Class D felony charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities arrested Ellis and transported her to Izard County Jail without further incident. The 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force continues its investigation into the matter.
