The pedestrian reportedly jumped into the car’s path before being killed.
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a 2017 Ford F350 on the 1600 block of W. Don Tyson Parkway around 6:00 PM. The following details have been released by Springdale Police Department.
Pedestrian Reportedly Jumped Into Car’s Path Before Death
The vehicle was traveling east when the incident occurred. The pedestrian was attempting to cross the parkway.
According to initial reports, the driver swerved to avoid the collision but the pedestrian jumped into the vehicle’s path.
Weather conditions were clear with dry roads at the time of the crash.
The deceased was taken to the Washington County Coroner’s Office, and the next of kin has not yet been notified.
The investigation is being handled by PFC. P. Olcott of the Springdale Police Department.
