According to Benton County Sheriff’s Office, there have been multiple reports of copper wire being stolen. It represents a very dangerous trend that threatens local infrastructure.

Copper Wire Theft Leads To Even Bigger Concerns

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has noted a spike in copper wire thefts, particularly around Siloam Springs south of Highway 412 and into Adair County, Oklahoma.

Thieves are reportedly scaling power poles to cut and steal the cables, causing significant concern for local infrastructure.

Residents are urged to report any suspicious activities related to these thefts.
