John Steven Wallace, 30, received a sentence of 188 months in federal prison for attempted production of explicit material involving underage children on January 15, 2024. Benton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the details. You can view a photograph of the suspect below.

He’s Going To Prison

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office traced the download of child pornography to a residence in Fayetteville, leading to further investigation by the ICAC Task Force and Fayetteville PD.

Wallace confessed to both downloading explicit material involving underage children and producing it using a hidden camera in his bathroom.

The case was a joint operation involving multiple agencies, including the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, ICAC Task Force, and Fayetteville Police Department.

Prosecuted under Project Safe Childhood, this case highlights the ongoing fight against child sexual exploitation, led by U.S. Attorney Tyler Williams.
