On January 23rd at 2:25 PM, multiple 911 calls reported a house fire near Haywood and School Street in Rose City. Engine 2 with North Little Rock Fire Department arrived first, encountering heavy fire on the second floor. You can watch the footage of the scene below.
Although most of the host was damaged, the structure as a whole was saved.
Roaring House Fire In North Little Rock Stopped In Just 20 Minutes
Firefighters quickly launched an attack and searched the structure. The unoccupied home suffered major fire damage.
According to the fire department:
“[D]ue to the quick actions of our firefighters, the fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes, with no damage to neighboring residences.”
The fire was controlled in 20 minutes, preventing spread to neighboring homes.
No injuries were reported since the house was empty.
