On Sunday, December 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., the historic Hooten Log Cabin opened its doors for “Christmas in the Cabin,” an event celebrating holiday traditions as they might have been in the 1850s.
Attendees enjoyed light refreshments while stepping back in time to imagine how the Hooten family might have celebrated Christmas in that era.
It was event attended by community leaders, including the city’s new mayor Seth Connell and previous mayors Paul Wellenberger and Linda Duncan.
