Searcy has been crowned the “cutest Christmas town in the South” by Southern Living, thanks to its annual Holiday of Lights celebration. There were only 18 other towns nationwide that made the cut. Searcy, Arkansas was one of them.

The magazine praised Searcy for its sparkling light displays and charming downtown, which together create a festive holiday atmosphere.
Tonia Hale, Co-Chair of the Holiday of Lights Committee, expressed pride in the town’s recognition, highlighting the community’s commitment to holiday cheer.
Tommy Centola, also a committee co-chair, emphasized that the event is a testament to Searcy’s creativity and love for tradition.
This year, visitors can indulge in holiday activities like the Living Nativity and train rides, making Searcy a must-visit during Christmas.
